Vanilla Bean & Bella is currently accepting wholesale applications for 2010.


Thank you for your interest in a wholesale account with Vanilla Bean & Bella. We pride ourselves in providing unique, quality attachment parenting items and the only 100% natural, handcrafted aromatherapeutic skincare products in the Ottawa Valley.

Wholesale prices are considered confidential and are available only to retailers. Upon receipt of your business number, name, address, email and phone number we will grant access to the wholesale clients’ area of our website. We will not share your information in any way, with anyone, and we expect the same courtesy of you. Failure to keep Vanilla Bean & Bella’s wholesale information confidential will result in the loss of your wholesale account with us.

Please be aware of the following terms before you request a wholesale account with us.


When You Order

Orders should be placed through the website, although in extraordinary circumstances we will accept orders in person / via email. We wholesale within Canada only.

We have a $150 ordering minimum, and a minimum quantity of 2 of each product / scent ordered. The reorder minimum is $100. Our prices do fluctuate with the cost of raw materials, and our wholesale customers will be informed of any changes before the order is processed.


Operating Hours

Vanilla Bean & Bella is a home-based business. Personal meetings are available through appointment, but we usually use email. Phone calls are acceptable as well, during normal business hours. We will reply to your correspondence within 24 hours.


Payment Terms

We accept payment by cash, money order and PayPal. Personal cheques will also be honoured, and we will ship once the cheque has cleared.

We require a 25% deposit upon ordering, with the balance due before shipping / delivery / pickup. We are unable to extend credit.


Shipping / Lead Time

We usually ship via Canada Post, and we insure all orders. You are responsible for shipping costs. Shipping charges on the website are estimated, and your invoice may need to be adjusted to reflect the actual price of shipping. We do not profit from shipping, and try to use the most economical and safe method possible. Shipping via courier or another method is possible.

Local pickup is encouraged, and local delivery may be available for a nominal fee depending on our schedule. All orders ship from Petawawa.

Our products are handcrafted in small batches, and we make some items to order. We will give you an estimated shipping date within 48 hours of receiving your order, but generally you can expect your order to ship within 2 weeks of placement. We will begin order processing upon receipt of the deposit, and orders will ship when full payment is received.

 

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or modify all or part of your order please contact us within 24 hours of ordering. If your order is in process before you cancel you will forfeit your 25% deposit. We try to be accommodating about cancellations, but we will recover our costs of manufacturing your order. You cannot cancel an order once it is shipped.

 

Returns

We inspect each product, and it will be packed securely for shipping. Still, damage in transit can happen. If this occurs please contact the carrier (i.e. Canada Post).

Please contact us before making a return. A 20% restocking fee applies to all returned merchandise, and shipping will be your responsibility. If the return is due to our error, we will cover the associated shipping costs.

You will have 5 business days from receipt to return unopened, unused, resaleable products. Any skincare product that does not have a safety seal on it cannot be returned.

We do not accept returns of unsold inventory, simply because our product did not do well at your store. Please order carefully, reading all product descriptions. If you’re unsure about a product you can order it retail first. We are usually able to provide samples.

 

Other Terms

  • For the cloth items we are open to working with you for special requests (i.e. colours, sizing, etc.). We love doing custom work, so please don’t hesitate to ask if there’s something you’re looking for that you don't see on the site.
  • We expect wholesalers to follow the same retail pricing that we have, because we are a small, locally-based business. Our products may not be altered in any way prior to resale.
  • We will include business cards and promotional items for Vanilla Bean & Bella in your order.
  • Occasionally we will barter goods / services in exchange for a portion of your order. Please contact us if this is something that interests you.
  • We reserve the right to refuse sales to any individual or business, at our discretion.
